Assoc. Prof. Dr. Miktat Kaya
In 1994, he graduated from Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine as a general practitioner. Until 2005, he specialised in neurosurgery and spinal cord surgery at Taksim Training and Research Hospital. During his speciality training, he prepared his thesis titled “The Evaluation Of The Neuroprotective Effect Of Ak295, A Calpain Inhibitor, In Rats With Spinal Cord Trauma”.
Having worked in the field of neurosurgery and spinal cord surgery in many state hospitals such as Elazığ Training and Research Hospital, Eyüp State Hospital and Kafkas University Faculty of Medicine, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Miktat KAYA is currently working at a medical practice.
He has been involved in many different scientific projects and publications and is a member of different committees including the Turkish Society of Neurosurgery and the Turkish Medical Association. In 2012, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Miktat KAYA received training in spine surgery and pain management at Anna Hospital in Herne, Germany.
